Card no.2

Hi all,
Following on from yesterday, here is the 2nd card from my productive Sunday evening...

Once upon a time I was petrified of hexagons but now (thanks to this six sided sampler stamp set) I am quite confortable with including them in my projects.

This card showcases all the new colours from the "2014-2016 in colour" collection. As usual Stampin Up! have put together a gorgeous colour collection where they all compliment each other and look fab when used all together!

Thanks for reading!xx

A Sunday evening well spent

So finally on Friday afternoon, my long awaited Stampin Up! delivery came and after a busy few days I was able to get some long overdue crafting time.

It took me a while to get started as I had so many ideas whizzing through my brain and didn't know where to start but I quickly got going!!

After a few hours I have loved playing with the new in-colour range, gorgeous stamps and I've ended up with 7 new cards to share which I will be doing over this week...

I saw this stamp used at my quarterly training and it instantly became something that I "needed"

It's called "Hey There" and is so versatile. Here I haven't actually included the wording as I wanted to use another sentiment. I have coloured the stamp in using markers and finished off with a bling gem.
The sentiment is from a new hostess stamp set called "hello there"

Thanks for looking, more tomorrow.xx

New Layouts

Hi all, here are a few new scrapbook layouts that I have completed recently for a Begonia Crafts Club Scrapbook layout

I loved all the papers so much, always make picking photos so tough!

Thanks for looking :-)

A quick little card

Here is a quick little card that I put together for a good friends birthday last week.

This spotty paper is one of my absute faves and with the right embellishment can look fab!! It is slightly distressed so looks lovy when used with Kraft card.

The flower was made using Stampin Up's Blossom Punch and the leaf die is from the Memory Box range.

Thank you for looking.xx

Special Books

Recently I was asked by my friend to make a mini book for her Nephews forthcoming 1st Birthday. I have made a few of these now and it really is a lovely way to capture photos and memories of pretty much anything!!

Here are a few pictures of what I made...

3 Little Butterflies

So whilst my husband to be has been away on his friends stag do this weekend I've been staying at my Parents house. It's always lovely coming back "home" for the comforts of my childhood and my Mum is my crafting buddy. After a busy weekend we finally got in some crafting time on this warm Sunday evening...

After raiding Mum's stamp stash I came across this lovely butterfly in an Inkadinkadoo set that I think I also have at home somewhere (oops)....

I'm loving shaped cards at the moment and this die shape is so nice to use!

Now it's time for bed as h2b is due home tomorrow and I will no doubt have a mountain of washing to tend to ha!

Thanks for looking!

Christening Cards

So recently I had the great honour of becoming a God Parent for the 2nd time so what did that also mean?

I needed to make some cards!!

Now being a very good friend to the Mummy of my new God Daughter, I was asked by a few of her family members to make them cards too...

My friend was having both her girls christened on the same day so you will see 6 different cards....

Here's what I came up with...

From me...

For another God Parent to give...
I love the bunting (Stampin Up punch) & the pastel colours...

And finally, these ones were for the Grandmother of the girls to give...
For these 2, I used Copic markers to colour the church & the ribbons were put of my stash.

I was really pleased with the different designs & I hope they were well-received...
